HOW TO BECOME A SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEUR? THREE SIMPLE STEPS

"Many people dream about being an entrepreneur, starting their own business, working for themselves, and living the good life. Very few, however, will actually take the plunge and put everything they've got into being their own boss." Fabrizio Moreira

As an entrepreneur, you set up a business or businesses by taking on financial risks with the hope of making profit, but in some cases lose is all you get. Been self employment is a big task that most people find very hard to cope with, the fact that you make most decision independently can be a bit challenging. Every entrepreneur must know that success cannot depend on the opinions of others because just like the weather and the wind people’s opinions and views change frequently. In order to succeed in any attempt in business, you must remain focus on what get you started no matter how hard the cost.  Below are some tips on how to be a successful entrepreneur

1.  Avoid Negativity: ‘You cannot have a positive life and a negative mind.’ Joyce Meyer Having a positive mindset will help you achieve a lot in life. Not only will you have more motivation to get things done but also have the ability to filter negativity out of your life, which could come from people.  One of the major challenges of moving forward with big decision making is, not having the right advice from people. A negative comment from loved ones, friends or people that you trust have a way of reducing your energy which grows on if it is not well managed. Most often people’s opinions can breed negativity but accepting criticism constructively will help you stay focus on what is right. No one is saying you should avoid those who are close to you because of their negativity, rather areas of conversation that are less profitable require lesser time. You should also remember to steer away from nonstop negative jokes when required.

2.  Build Yourself Up: If you fall down today, it doesn’t mean everything should end. Find strength in your failure and rise again, because most people that have one way or the other become a tycoon in business only have one thing in common and that is their ability never to give up on their dream. Building yourself up does not mean you go around with pride, rather you can be your best source of encouragement by encouraging yourself. The opportunity to become the best version of yourself in your business should be your strength. How can you achieve this? Read the testimonies of other entrepreneurs who have experienced the same or similar difficulties like you, some current day success stories of people who have made it from simple means and become a great Influencer. People like Martha Stewart, Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Thomas Edison, Harry S. Truman, and Abraham Lincoln and many more can be a point of reference.

3.  Go Back to Square One: Every entrepreneur at a point in time may find themselves uncertain about a decision or how to move forward with a plan. The best approach to such scenario is to remember all the things that encouraged you to get started in the first place. Try not to entertain negative thoughts but remain positive, embrace helpful, inspiring and uplifting thought. You are on track to achieving great things as long as you do not let yourself become derailed by the negative words of others, anticipate the result. What does it take to succeed? You need self confidence, hard work, discipline and sacrifice to become a successful entrepreneur. Always remember that ‘Everybody, at some point in their life, has fallen down and not felt like getting back up, but you have to, no matter how difficult it is’. Charlie Hunnam
